Senior Flash Developer
Position Summary:
Come build the next great Facebook social game. Majesco Entertainment?s online social game studio is a group of avid game players and creators. You?ll be perfect for the job if you love building robust Flash games. We are located in the shadow of the world-famous Gillette stadium at Foxboro, Massachusetts. We are looking for a senior level Flash/Flex Developer to help shape the next generation of our games.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-5 years professional experience developing with Flash technologies (Flash, Flex, AIR)
- Proficiency and advanced knowledge of ActionScript 3 (AS3) and object-oriented principles
- Knowledge of common data formats (specifically: XML and JSON)
- Extensive experience with the Flash Graphics API
- Working knowledge of the Eclipse (Flash Builder) IDE
- Comfortable working in both the Flash (CS) authoring environment and Flash Builder IDE
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Prior experience developing Flash-based games a plus
- Knowledge of common design patterns (particularly as they relate to Flash development)
- Ability to modify/create supporting graphical assets
- Proficiency with Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Working knowledge of other client-side languages: Javascript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
- Working knowledge of server-side languages/technologies: PHP, Java, Groovy, Grails, MySQL
- Understanding of the Flash security model
- Computer Science Degree

Lead Software Engineer
Position Summary:

This exciting programming position is responsible for creating our new game platform server technologies. You must be able to work independently to create robust solutions and provide feedback to fellow team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience using the Grails Web Framework and the Groovy language
- Experience as a team lead or team mentor
- Experience with one or more social networking APIs like Facebook or Twitter
- Experience developing Facebook applications
- Experience with SOAP or RESTful Web Services
- 2+ yrs experience with a Unix-based operating system
- Performance Tuning
- 8 + yrs Java development experience in an Agile enterprise setting
- Experience with AJAX, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with Hibernate, Spring or other ORM technologies
- 4+ yrs experience with RDMS concepts and SQL
- Experience with Software Design Patterns, OOP
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science

Web Designer/Developer
Position Summary:
Responsible for the design and development, implementation and maintenance of Majesco?s web presence. Additional responsibilities include the creation of online marketing creative for our all of our products. This is a marketing department position and will require extensive interaction with product management and creative services.
The ideal candidate will have all the skills necessary to conceptualize and implement a wide variety of online creative from full web sites, to online advertising creative to HTML emails. An interest in games, excellent communication skills, strong design and graphic sense, and the ability to think creatively are imperative. Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience designing and developing online creative content
- Degree in Web Design & Development and/or Graphic Arts preferred but not required. ?Strong online portfolio of web design work required.
- In-depth knowledge of Flash, HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Wordpress, jQuery and SEO and Adobe Creative Suite required
- Strong, creative design and production skills along with browser implications of specific design and coding practices.
- Must be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, meeting aggressive deadlines daily
- Ability to multi-task and offer strategic, creative solutions on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills, excellent work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to thrive as part of a team as well as individually
- Knowledge of back end databases is a plus
